Price gouging greedy company
"At first, I absolutely loved this ring and was happy with Grown Brilliance. However, after a short 2. 5 years I have sadly lost my family heirloom engagement ring as well as my GB wedding band. I’m devastated. Obviously I do not blame GB for my mistake, HOWEVER: I looked into replacing my lost wedding band. In the short 2. 5 years since I purchased it, it has NEARLY DOUBLE IN PRICE. I understand inflation happens, but I see this as nothing short of price gouging. In late 2022 this ring was $435. Now it’s $795! That’s UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. Clearly grown brilliance is taking advantage of the people, and taking advantage of this kleptocratic system that the US has recently become. According to the CPI inflation calculator, $435 in August 2022 = $466 in January 2025. So why did this ring double in price?? GREED. BECAUSE THEY CAN. In short: GB is making my devastating nightmare of a situation so soooo much worse with their greed. I cannot understate my disappointment in this company. Would not recommend supporting their greed.
